HIGH LIFE HIGHLIGHTS

Last week was a rich time of retreat from the campuses of the great plains to gather in the highlands for challenge and development. And let's face it- you just don't get this view in Kansas.

Among the highlights, we got our Roman Catholic on with Jack Jezreel. Statue jokes aside, Jack stretched our view of social justice and the good deeds that go with our good news. In the words of John Lamb, it was great to have an "intelligent discourse with someone from the Roman Catholic faith." Spoken like a true Protestant.

P&W props to Chris McKinney who did a great job ministering and leading us into worship before the Lord. After the long Wednesday morning and afternoon sessions I needed some reformed hymns and praise to restore my soul. THANKS CHRIS!

Just about everyone's favorite session was our morning with Bill "The Strength-a-nator" Kollar. From the Achievers to the Woos Bill was a hit in helping us get the strengths out on the table and moving toward implementing and operating from our giftedness. My question is how many Local Leaders we are driving crazy with our new strengths filter and lingo???

By the time Friday rolled around we were all standing strong, holding the high ground. Just like these bighorn sheep were before being gunned down by JL and the New Mexico State team. For the animal rights sympathizers from Colorado this is just a joke. Everyone knows it's not even bow season.
