The goal is that these students will take the training and resources to form teams or join existing high school ministry efforts to launch new movements over the next year. Extra strokes to the Wiekamps, Zachs, and Bobby Rainbolt who got the word out and recruited well to this unique opportunity. If others of you want to dabble into the Student Venture partnership (like launching a movement where your kids go to school or setting up training for your high school focused college students) contact long distance coach Scott Livermore at Scott.Livermore@studentventure.com or SV regional rep Michelle Beckman at Michelle.Beckman@studentventure.com for more details. As for you do-it-yourselfers you can get resources at:

I have received assorted e-mails and questions concerning some of our developmental resources from the Leadership Conference and thought I would post them here on the Gravel Road so you can avail them as needed.
If you are venturing into the world of athletic ministry our own Scott Goodyear has over 5 years of AIA counseling and resources. I just contacted him myself for some materials he has personally written for team studies

RIVENDELL COLLEGE
For online courses to complete your IBS credits, to do a study together as a team, or to pursue a Masters Degree through Rivendell you can get all your info at:
http://www.rivendellcollege.org/dmdocuments/MAChristStudies.pdf.
or e-mail our old friend Gary Stanley at gary.stanley@rivendellcollege.org who is the provost for Rivendell.
Rivendell tuition for Campus Crusade staff is the same as the current rate for IBS, $100/credit. Distance learning courses also require the purchase of CDs, textbooks, and other materials and typically the cost is around $175 per course.
Note: If five or more staff register for the same online class, Rivendell will provide a content expert and offer the course as a cohort class. This may be a good option for local teams wishing to make one of these courses a part of their staff development during the year. Further, if five or more local (Colorado) staff wish to take a resident (live lecture) graduate course Rivendell will seek to accommodate the time and location with the attending students.

THE FORUM
To reach out to leadership students on your campus and develop a variety of leadership skills in your own personal ministry we are taking dates for Forums for the upcoming Fall. Staff can now access the Forum website .
For personal reference, GPI leaders who have already hosted a Forum that you can contact in our region include: Aaron Schalosky, Christian Rainbolt, Ryan Reeves, Tod Johnson, and Demarick Patton.
If you are already thinking of a Forum for next school year e-mail me to get on the calendar as we are already overbooked for this spring.
STRENGTH FINDERS
Bill Kollar provided an excellent condensed Strength Finders training for Moms and select leaders at DCC. If you have personal questions about your profile you can e-mail Bill as long as it is 50 words or less. For those of you looking to use Strength Finders as an outreach tool with students contact Phil Washburn who is tearing it up at NMSU.
